We are seeing some healthy profit taking in gold (GLD) and silver (SLV) after making an explosive breakout over the summer.

The New York Times reported on a growing phenomenon in Europe: “suicide by economic crisis.”

There are certain dogmas held sacrosanct by precious metals investors and one of them is that platinum is supposed to be more expensive than gold.
